Boasting more than 100 acts of pure explosive thrash and metal, return of the Dive Bar, live art program and exclusive Metallica experiences, THIS is where you need to spend your Sunday night. Rain or shine, fire will ignite in synch with Metallica's greatest hits. Alice and Chains, Power Trip, Chevelle, Arch Enemy and numerous of unannounced bands will blast a list of magnum opuses till hell breaks open.

Throw your fists up and shout till your ears bleed because the heaviest and the craziest festival is about to take place in 2025. For four days, more than 120 incredible bands will turn Historic Crew Stadium into a pit of relentless thrash and grunge that will consume anyone who dare steps in. On Sunday, May 11th, Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival will be trigger its finale with a bang with the Bay Area thrash legends, Metallica, headlining the show.
"Every year we ask our fans who they want to see at Sonic Temple, and the answer this year was clear — Metallica! We've been trying to get Metallica to Sonic Temple for the last five years, and are ready to bring two nights of Metallica to Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio next May," shared Danny Wimmer.
Whether the stars are out in full light or heavy rain clouds will cover the venue, Metallica will ignite blazing hits, pulled out from their vast discography which traversed over 40 years in their career.
The 2009 Rock Hall of Famers will also headline Sonic Temple Festival on Friday but will follow their M72 World Tour's "No Repeat Weekend" tradition, which meant that each headlining night will feature completely unique sets. Pump yur fists to the riff-roaring "Orion" and "Master of Puppets" or the newest Award-winning title track and titanium singles from the album "72 Season", "Lux Æterna' and "Screaming Suicide."
To date, four bands (excluding Metallica) have been confirmed to perform on the Festival's final night. American rock band, Alice in Chains, will show you the epitome of grunge movement, letting you experience personal demons and private hells vicariously through their distinctive voice. The Grammy-nominated band will shred their Billboard charting tracks and possibly new tunes that they have been working on since 2021.
Meanwhile, Dallas-based crossover thrash band, Power Trip is going to smash your eardrums into your skull with tracks from the Billboard charting album, "Nightmare Logic," or their Grammy-nominated single "Executioner's Tax."
The third rock back to join Metallica on stage is Chevelle, known for their thick riffs and beating rhythms. Fan-favorite tracks from their debut album Point #1 up to their ninth studio album NIRATIAS, will take you for a spin, blending elements of nu-metal, riffs, progressive rock and art rock.
Swedish melodic death metal band, Arch Enemy will jolt audiences with melody-stuffed heaviness and jolting doses of heavy fucking metal tracks. Expect crowd-pleasers like Loudwire's "best metal/rock song" of 2022 "Handshake with Hell," or the explosive tracks "House of Mirrors," and "Deceivers."
